The nominees for the Summer Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) were finally revealed to the public on its official Facebook page, just hours before the awaited Gabi ng Parangal at the New Frontier Theater.

Gerald Anderson, Carlo Aquino, and Romnick Sarmenta are among the nominees for Best Actor; while Kylie Padilla, Gladys Reyes, and Bela Padilla were the only stars nominated in the festival’s Best Actress category.

The MMFF committee has announced the 14 nominees for the awards night where “About Us But Not About Us,” “Here Comes The Groom,” and “Love You Long Time” earned Best Picture nods.

The nominees came hours after award-winning actress Dolly de Leon was confirmed as the film festival’s chairperson of the jury, per a statement from MMFF spokesperson Noel Ferrer.

The festival’s Gabi ng Parangal will be held at the New Frontier Theater on April 11 with an 8:00 pm telecast on OnePH, as well as a delayed telecast on TV5 at 10:45 pm. EDV
