The preliminary contests of the Miss Universe Philippines (MUPh) 2023 have officially begun as the 38 candidates showed off their fiercest poses in the “Photoshoot Challenge.”

The photoshoot contest, which was described as a challenge “serving glamor,” is the first stage of the pageant, where fans can vote for their favorite candidate through the MUPh app from April 3 to April 9.

The delegates will also flaunt their toned physiques in the upcoming “Swimsuit Challenge” from April 10 to 16. The contests will end with the candidates prancing on the runway with the “Jojo Bragais Runway Challenge” starting from April 17 to 23.

Prior to the preliminary challenges, the MUPh organization also shared a fashion video of the candidates where they were seen showing off their best poses in the contest.
