Lara Quigaman teases Kisses Delavin’s ‘comeback’ project
Lara Quigaman and Kisses Delavin appear to be working on what appeared to be the latter’s first project following a short hiatus from show business after trying her hand in the pageant world.
Incidentally, Quigaman was also a beauty queen before joining the entertainment industry. She won the 2005 Miss International in Tokyo, Japan, the fourth Filipina to have done so, after Gemma Cruz in 1964, Aurora Pijuan in 1970, and Melanie Marquez in 1979. Her success was followed by Bea Rose Santiago in 2013, and Kylie Verzosa in 2016.
On the other hand, Delavin ended up in the Top 10 of the Miss Universe Philippines pageant in 2021.
On Instagram, Quigaman shared a selfie of herself with Delavin saying that they would join forces on an upcoming project. However, the “The Killer Bride” star, who first crossed paths with Delavin in an episode of “Pinoy Big Brother: Lucky 7” in 2016, didn’t disclose the details of what they are working on.
“Dati, pinapaiyak lang kita (sorry na, sabi ni kuya eh),” Quigaman said, noting the time when the teen actress broke down during PBB’s beauty queen task. “Ngayon naman [pinapaiyak] na natin ang isa’t isa. So happy to finally work with you my sweet girl.”

(Before, I used to make you cry. Sorry, Big Brother told me to do it. Now, we’re making each other cry. I’m so happy to finally work with you, my sweet girl.)
Miss International 2013 Bea Rose Santiago and beauty queen coach Ian Mendajar were elated to see Quigaman and Delavin together.
Meanwhile, Delavin’s fans expressed their excitement over the actress’ return to showbiz, as seen in the comments of Quigaman’s post.
The “D’Ninang” star, whose showbiz career is on hold, has yet to address her upcoming entertainment pursuits, as her Instagram account hasn’t been updated since October 2021.
It can be recalled that Delavin tried her hand at pageantry at the Miss Universe Philippines 2021 pageant, where Beatrice Luigi Gomez emerged as the winner.
Among the “Pinoy Big Brother” alum’s recent projects include the film “D’Ninang” in 2020 and an appearance in the noontime show “Eat Bulaga” in 2021. EDV
