Dolly de Leon to star in ‘Grand Death Lotto’ with Awkwafina, John Cena, Simu Liu

Dolly de Leon will be joining the cast of the upcoming action-comedy film “Grand Death Lotto” which will be headlined by Hollywood actors John Cena, Simu Liu and Awkwafina.

De Leon already signed on the role alongside other supporting cast members Ayden Mayeri, Seann William Scott and Donald Elise Watkins, as reported by Deadline on Wednesday, March 22. No further details about their characters have been given as of this writing.

“Grand Death Lotto,” set in a near-future California, will tell the story of Awkwafina’s Katie who won the grand lottery. However, the lottery was established with a new rule: anyone can legally claim the prize if they get to kill the winner before sundown.

Jackpot protectors and rivals Noel and Louis Lewis, to be portrayed by Cena and Liu respectively, will then compete in protecting Katie for the commission.

The filming for the Amazon Studios movie, which will be helmed by “Bridesmaids” director Paul Feig, has already started last March 6. EDV
