MANILA, Philippines — John Lloyd Cruz and his rumored girlfriend, artist Isabel Santos, recently visited an animal rescue shelter in Tanauan, Batangas, looking for a dog they will adopt.
On March 9, the animal rescue service Strays Worth Saving (SWS) posted photos of the pair on their social media accounts to thank them for visiting the shelter and spending time with their rescues.
“SWS is blessed to have beautiful couple John Lloyd and Isabel visit the SWS shelter today!!! They are looking to adopt one of our rescues, and there is no better way to do it than meet the candidates themselves,” SWS wrote in its Instagram post.
Apart from their rescues, SWS said even their caretakers could not deny their excitement to see their celebrity visitors, whom they admired for having no qualms at all about carrying and playing with their rescues.
“One of our rescues, Rain, peed on John Lloyd’s clothes, and he had no complaint at all!” the page’s admin went on to say.
The same day, Santos took to her personal Instagram account to share adorable photos of their bonding moments with the rescued dogs at the shelter, thanking the dedicated and loving folks of SWS for allowing them to visit.
“Finally got to visit @straysworthsaving to see which [dog emoji] we have [revolving heart emojis] with. Apparently, it’s [dog emojis] that we [revolving heart emojis],” she captioned her post.
Meanwhile, many social media users, including Cruz’s fans, expressed their admiration for the pair for “having a good heart for the strays.”
As of this writing, neither Cruz nor Santos has confirmed their dating rumors since they first sparked dating speculations in 2021.
However, they have been seen together on several occasions, including the actor’s birthday in June last year, their London trip in September, and their recent nature trip in Tanay, Rizal, with Cruz’s son, Elias, and several other companions.
