K-pop supergroup BTS has secured another achievement after winning the Favorite Music Group at the 2023 Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards which took place in Los Angeles, U.S. on March 4.

This marks the seven-member group’s fourth consecutive year of being named as the Favorite Music Group, as well as their seventh overall trophy from the Kids’ Choice Awards.

It can also be noted that BTS broke their own Guinness World Record for “the most Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards won by a music group,” which was announced in March 2021.

BTS — consisting of RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V, and Jungkook, was formed by Big Hit Entertainment in June 2013. Their music label rebranded as Hybe Corporation in March 2021, where Big Hit Entertainment became Big Hit Music under its music labels division.

The seven-member group is best known for their hit songs “Butter,” “Dynamite,” “DNA,” “ON,” “Permission to Dance,” and “Idol,” among many others. BTS announced its temporary break from group activities during the “Festa Dinner with BTS” live event in June 2022.

The unit’s oldest member Jin is currently fulfilling his mandatory military service since December 2022, whereas J-Hope is set to enlist although the exact date of his enlistment is yet to be announced. EDV
