Popular actress stricken with Dr. Jekyll and Ms. Hyde disease
Seasoned Host (SH) wants entitled celebrities to realize that “being true to yourself” doesn’t excuse her or anybody—even those who think they are their network’s biggest stars—from bad behavior.
SH told Rushes the trauma her Gentlemanly Husband (GH) had to go through involving Smiling Maldita (SM). Ironically, SM was warm and cordial to GH—like Dr. Jekyll—the first time GH and SM were introduced to each other at an official function involving both their companies.
However, GH found himself in a painfully embarrassing situation the next time he crossed paths with SM, who was apparently in one of her Ms. Hyde moods at the time. Remembering how “friendly” SM was at their first meeting, GM plucked up enough courage to approach SM just to say hello.
GH reintroduced himself to SM first in English, but after SM threw a dismissive stare his way, GH thought SM probably needed a “reminder” who he was. So he repeated his greeting to SM, but this time in Tagalog.
But when SM continued to ignore GH, that was when he realized it was time to retreat, head back to his table and eat humble pie—a bitter pill to swallow for SH’s well-meaning hubby!
While we were horrified by SH’s story, we can’t say we were surprised by SM’s behavior. After all, there are a lot of horror stories about SM just floating around in the industry. Lesson learned? Don’t be fooled by an artista’s smile—it could just be a deceptive facade.
