PH-based Man of the World pageant now has 40 delegates for its 5th edition
MANILA, Philippines — The homegrown international Man of the World pageant is only on its 5th edition, but more countries are showing interest in the global competition for men established by Prime Event Productions Philippines (PEPPS) Foundation Inc.
“As the fastest-growing major male pageant today, Man of the World confirmed the debut of new participating countries such as United Arab Emirates, Trinidad and Tobago, Morocco, Kenya, Cuba, Tunisia, Fiji, Hawaii, Mexico, Martinique, Haiti, and Peru,” Director for Franchising and Licensing Aski Pascual said at the “PEPPS 2023 Kickstart” program held at the grand ballroom of Winford Manila Resort and Casino in Manila on Feb. 28.
He also teased the return of “Algeria, Australia, Ecuador, Jordan, Myanmar, Namibia, Syria, and Cape Verde” to the international male competition that seeks to promote “masculinity with responsibility.”
And taking inspiration from the “Festival Kings” presentation of the counterpart national competition Misters of Filipinas last year, the 2023 Man of the World pageant will hold a “Parade of Nations” for its opening salvo, which it will pattern after the Olympics.
PEPPS is currently seeking a partner school who can help conduct the ceremonies, where each delegate is expected to parade with their respective teams showcasing their cultures and tradition. The Man of the World pageant has previously partnered with schools in promoting its advocacy of valuing education.
