The last day of February was a rosy one for Jessy Mendiola and Luis Manzano as they celebrated the second month since “Baby Peanut” was born.
Mendiola took to her personal Instagram account on Wednesday, Mar. 1 to share a photo of her two-month-old daughter, Isabella Rose Tawile Manzano, wearing a red dress with a matching bow on her head. “Rosie,” as the baby is also called, was lying down beside a cluster of rose blooms in different sizes and colors formed into the shape of the number two.
“Red roses to end love month. Happy 2 months to our Isabella Rose! Pagbigyan sa kaartehan ni mama (Pardon mom’s fancy). Waaaah! Don’t grow up too fast my little one. I can’t believe 2 months went by so quickly,” she said in the caption.
The “Maria Mercedes” star also shared several close-up pictures of Baby Peanut on Tuesday, Feb. 28, donning a long-sleeved top decorated with pink roses.
“Happy 2nd month, our little Rosie. You are getting more beautiful each day, your laughter never fails to warm our hearts. We are so in love with you,” she wrote.
Celebrity mothers including Anne Curtis, Beauty Gonzalez, Sofia Andres, Isabelle Daza, and Vina Morales congratulated Mendiola and Manzano on their baby girl’s newest milestone in the comments.
Curtis wrote, “Can’t wait to meet you little one!”
Gonzalez said, “So so so lovely.”
Mendiola gave birth to Isabella Rose in December 28 last year, where among her first guests include the mother of her husband and screen veteran, Vilma Santos-Recto, who was overjoyed to see her granddaughter for the first time.
The “Dekada ‘70” star recently admitted during a media conference that her two-month old apo has the makings of a celebrity if ever she decides to pursue a career in showbiz in the future. EDV
