Barbie Forteza, David Licauco to appear in upcoming ‘Daig Kayo Ng Lola Ko’ episode

FiLay (Fidel and Klay) fans are in for another round of kilig as Barbie Forteza and David Licauco are set to appear in an upcoming episode of the GMA anthology series “Daig Kayo Ng Lola Ko”.
Forteza and Licauco’s newest project was confirmed by the network through its social media platforms on Wednesday, Feb. 22. The behind-the-scenes photos showed the loveteam in what appeared to be a pool, as they had their arms around each other in a supposed romantic moment.
“Pambansang Ginoo @davidlicauco and Primetime Princess @barbaraforteza are working together for another project! Catch their #DaigKayoNgLolaKo episode, soon on GMA,” the caption on GMA Network’s post read.

Despite the teaser, it remains unclear Forteza and Licauco’s episode will be released, as well as the plot line of their upcoming appearance.
Forteza and Licauco’s team-up gained widespread recognition after starring as Klay Infantes and Fidel de los Reyes y Maglipol in the historical fantasy drama “Maria Clara at Ibarra”, which is currently in its final week.
The teleserye, which was supposed to air its final episode on Feb. 17, was extended for another week, which was said to be a “Valentine’s gift” to its fans. It also stars Dennis Trillo, Julie Anne San Jose, Khalil Ramos, and Juancho Triviño.
Despite the popularity of the FiLay loveteam, the actors clarified that their chemistry will only remain for reel as Forteza is currently in a long-term relationship with fellow Kapuso actor Jak Roberto. Forteza, however, said in an interview that the hunk is supportive of their onscreen match-up. EDV
