BTS’ Jimin is set to release his upcoming solo album “Face” on March 24, according to an announcement from his music label Big Hit Music.
Details of Jimin’s album have been revealed by the Korean music label on Tuesday night, Feb. 21, through a short video clip released on its official social media platforms.
“Face” will be released on Friday, March 24 at exactly 12 noon (Philippine Standard Time). According to a release via fan platform Weverse, the upcoming record will focus on Jimin “facing himself head-on as he gets ready for his next step as a solo artist.”

“Jimin will see the fans through various activities including the ‘Face’ release, so we ask for your continued interest and support for Jimin’s first official solo activity,” its statement read.
Prior to Big Hit’s confirmation, Jimin revealed on a Weverse livestream earlier this month that his album will be released “around March”, and he’s “currently preparing lots of things that I can do together” with fans.
The BTS member is said to “perform about two songs” in music shows following his solo debut, per a follow-up report from the label.
However, details about his album tracklist and concept are yet to be revealed, as of this writing.
Jimin, who debuted as the main dancer and lead vocalist of BTS in June 2013, will be the fourth member to release solo work following J-Hope, Jin, and RM.
Prior to his solo debut, he recorded the single “With You” in April 2022 and collaborative track “Bad Decisions” alongside bandmates Jin, V, and Jungkook, with Snoop Dogg and Benny Blanco in August of the same year.
He also made headlines after collaborating with Taeyang of BigBang for the R&B track “Vibe” in January 2023.
He also dropped solo tracks such as “Intro: Serendipity,” “Serendipity (Full Length Edition),” and “Filter,” among others, although these songs were included in BTS’ albums. EDV
