Alodia Gosiengfiao is still on high as she shared glimpses of her glamorous wedding ceremony with her husband, businessman Christopher Quimbo, which was held at the Marriott Hotel in Pasay City on Valentine’s Day.

But what caught the eye of netizens on social media, however, are the couple’s principal sponsors who make up the list of big names in entertainment, business and politics, as seen in a photo posted on her Facebook page on Monday, Feb. 20.

Among them are Senator Cynthia Villar and her husband, entrepreneur Manny Villar, celebrity doctors Vicki Belo and husband Hayden Kho, business tycoons Hans Sy of SM Investments, and Robina Gokongwei-Pe of Robinsons Retail Holdings Inc.

But Gosiengfiao’s post was met with amusement by some netizens, who took note that the newly-weds’ choice of principal sponsors come from the who’s who of society.

One wrote in jest, “Sino kaya nag regalo ng bagong mundo (I wonder who gifted the couple with a new world)?” while another asked for a gift reveal.

Another said, “Ewan ko nalang kung makatanggap pa ‘to ng baso at plato (I’m not even sure if they received glasses and plates as wedding gifts).”

One netizen commented, “Wala pa po ako magiging asawa pero pag ganyan naman magiging ninong ninang ko. Wanted asawa po (I don’t have a fiancé yet but I want to have them as my wedding entourage. I want a partner, please).”

The celebrity streamer also looked back at some of her most unforgettable moments during her wedding through a Facebook album on the same day.

Among the photos include a close-up shot of Gosiengfiao and Quimbo, outdoor-inspired decorations, the couple’s entourage including the bridesmaids and groomsmen, six-foot tall wedding cake, and her bridal look.

The wedding entourage likewise included a number of familiar faces such as content creator Verniece Enciso and “Pinoy Big Brother” alum Myrtle Sarrosa.

“I vow to be your forever player 2 in this beautiful game called ‘life,’” Gosiengfiao wrote.

Prior to their wedding, the couple announced their engagement following a whirlwind romance through Gosiengfiao’s YouTube vlog in July 2022.

Quimbo also revealed that he asked the celebrity streamer to be his girlfriend just within the first month they met. EDV
