Kim Chiu could not hide her excitement after she discovered that her hosting gig in the ABS-CBN survival show “Dream Maker” was featured in the Korean media outlet Dispatch Korea.

Chiu was described as a “femme fatale with many charms” by Korean entertainment reporter Lee Ho-jun in an article for Dispatch Korea, which was published on Tuesday, Feb. 14. According to the report, she was praised for her “doll-like visuals” which was showcased in her many outfits during the show’s finale that was broadcasted on Feb. 12.

Among the buzzwords used to describe the actress-host were “class of a goddess,” “overwhelming charisma”, “elegant atmosphere”, and “smiling angel”, among many others.

Following the report, the “It’s Showtime” host was overjoyed following Dispatch’s report, as seen on her personal Instagram account on the same day.

“Woke up to this!!!! [emojis] KINIKILIG AKO!!!!! [emojis] Hala @koreadispatch news realness!!! [emoji] OMG!!!! Im shaking!!! Medyo OA but yun talaga naramdaman ko being a kpop fan,” she said. “I’m still on my #DreamMakerTheDreamFinale high I haven’t posted anything yet [because] di pa ako maka move on sa lahat ng nangyari, sa isip ko paano nangyari yun? [Three-hour] show? It went by so fast.”

(Woke up to this! I’m so kilig. Dispatch Korea realness. Oh my gosh, I’m shaking. It sounds a little overacting, but it is what I feel as a K-pop fan myself. I’m still on my “Dream Maker The Dream Finale” high which is why I haven’t posted anything yet because I haven’t moved on from what happened. In my mind, how did it happen? A three-hour show? It went by so fast.)

The “Pinoy Big Brother” alum also thanked the staff of “Dream Maker” for giving her the privilege to be part of the show as a host.

“My heart is bursting with gratitude and overflowing joy and truly grateful sa lahat ng bumubuo ng @dreammakerofc [emojis] di ko alam paano ko kayo mapapasalamatan ang lahat ng bumubuo dream maker fam. Salamat sa tiwala na binigay nyo sa akin. Nung una di rin ako makapaniwala na paano ko magagawa to? Ang unang sinabi ko pa, paano to? bakit ako,” she said.

The “It’s Showtime” host also revealed that she felt like a winner following the Dispatch feature.

Chiu’s real-life boyfriend and actor Xian Lim, host Bianca Gonzalez, and “It’s Showtime” co-host Vhong Navarro congratulated the actress on her recent milestone.

The actress was recently named as the Best Female TV Host by 35th Philippine Movie Press Club (PMPC) Star Awards for Television for her work in the noontime variety show “It’s Showtime”.
