Ronnie Alonte revealed that he used to be an unfaithful partner to his real-life girlfriend, Loisa Andalio, and the latter had caught him cheating a number of times in the past.

Alonte opened up about his past infidelity in a Feb. 7 episode of the morning show “Magandang Buhay,” which led to his brief separation from Andalio.

“Sa totoo lang, aminin ko. Mali ako. Kasi ‘yung mga nakatrabaho ko dati at ‘yung mga nakasama ko dati, hindi ko nilinaw sa kanila at hindi ko sinabi sa kanila na kami ni Loisa. Tinago ko din sa mga naging ka-partner ko,” he said, choosing to not disclose the identity of his past flings.

FEATURED STORIES

(If I have to be honest, I was wrong. Because I didn’t clarify to my colleagues and companions before that I was already in a relationship with Loisa. I also hid my relationship status from my former onscreen partners.)

The actor, however, failed to go into detail about his unfaithfulness with Andalio, as he requested fans to not bash anyone who might get involved with the matter.

“‘Yun lang ang nililinaw ko na ngayon ko lang sinabi, na ako ‘yung may mali doon. Sa mga fans, huwag niyo [sila] iba-bash ‘yung mga babae na na-link sa akin dati kasi hindi nila alam. Kasalanan ko ‘yun,” he said.

(This is what I have to say about the issue, that I was the one who was at fault. To the fans, please don’t bash the women who were linked to me before because they didn’t know. It was my fault.)

Alonte also shared that he and Andalio temporarily stopped seeing each other at some point, where he had to seek solace from his friends.

“Nung [nagkahiwalay kami], sobrang sakit pala nung feeling na ganun. Parang mga halos isang linggo, dalawang linggo, nawala ako talaga. Lumabas ako with tropa and friends para maalis sa utak ko ‘yung mga nangyari. Pero na-realize ko din sa dulo na baka karma lang din ito kasi,” he said.

“Tinake ko ‘yun as karma kasi ang dami kong kasalanan sa kanya before pa mangyari ‘yun. Ang dami na niyang nahuli sa akin… nahuli niya ako. So naramdaman ko ‘yung feeling kung gaano kasakit yung ganung pakiramdam,” he added.

(When we broke up, it hurt so much. It took about a week or two for me to lose myself completely. I went out with my friends to clear my thoughts about what happened but I realized in the end that this was my karma. I took it as a karma because I made so many mistakes before the cheating happened. She saw me with a lot of women. So, I felt how much it hurt her.)

When Andalio was asked how many women she caught Alonte with, she jokingly replied that they cannot be counted with her own fingers.

Despite Alonte’s past infidelity, he revealed that he’s sure that the actress is “the one” for him.

“Hundred percent sure… sigurado na ako eh. Sigurado na ako sa kanya (I’m a hundred percent sure. I’m sure. I’m sure with her),” he said.

Alonte and Andalio have been together for more than six years, but their romance was only confirmed in November 2018.

The celebrity couple have starred together in the teleseryes “The General’s Daughter”, “Unloving U”, and “Love in 40 Days”, as well as the films “Fantastica” and “James and Pat and Dave”. EDV
