Willie Revillame seemed to have dismissed rumors that his show “Wowowin” will take a break from airing, as he revealed that the construction of their new studio has been expedited to accommodate a live audience soon.
The TV host spoke about this while giving a glimpse of the studio’s construction in an episode of “24 Patrol” on ALLTV network’s Facebook page on Monday, Feb. 6. Revillame was apparently addressing the recent speculations that ALLTV will temporarily stop airing some of its programs supposedly due to lack of advertisers and low ratings.
(There’s lots of gossip and speculation… Here’s the truth: Do you know that the “Wowowin” studio had a meeting earlier? [The construction of the studio] has been expedited so that we can have [live audience].)
Revillame stressed that the network’s management has not notified him of any plans on the supposed halting of shows, and noted that they are currently working on improving the network’s signal to widen its reach.
(Here in “Wowowin” and ALLTV, we only say the truth. There are lots of speculations [but] wait for the truth. You will eventually know it [because] I’ll be the first to inform you.)
(The ALLTV management has been enhancing the signal and the reach of its programs. To all my co-workers here, do not worry. This company will not abandon us.)
Revillame earlier addressed the critics of ALLTV and lamented how they apparently rejoiced over speculations of the network’s supposed break from airing its programs. Revillame also pointed out that “Wowowin” aims to help its viewers, and noted that the show is not an avenue for him to get into politics.
The management of the network, meanwhile, has yet to address the speculations as of this writing. /ra
