Lee Je-hoon started out his career doing indie films, including the haunting coming of age drama, “Bleak Night,” which won for him the best new actor trophy at the prestigious Blue Dragon Film Awards in 2011.

Over the years, Lee Je-hoon has built an impressive resume, both in film and television, helping him cement his status as one of Korea’s top actors of his generation.

Noted for his boy-next-door charm and versatility, he has played memorable characters in various critically acclaimed and commercially successful shows. He was an ex-convict and underground fighter in “Move to Heaven,” a soldier-turned-driver in “Taxi Driver,” a criminal profiler in “Signal,” and a talented young singer in “My Paparotti.”

Among his other notable projects are the films “Anarchist from Colony,” “The Frontline” and “Architecture 101,” and the series “Secret Door” and “Where Stars Land.” He also founded his own production outfit Hard Cut and talent agency Company On.

While he’s primarily known for his acting talent, Lee Je-hoon can also dance and carry a tune, which Filipino fans will get to see in person soon.
