American singer Marc Anthony exchanged vows with 23-year old model Nadia Ferreira in a star-studded wedding ceremony in Miami, Florida over the weekend, a report from Hola! magazine said.
Based on the magazine report, the Grammy-winning crooner and the new Mrs. Muñiz were married at the Perez Art Museum on Saturday evening (Sunday in Manila), with several big-ticket celebrities in attendance.
Among them were David and Victoria Beckham, Salma Hayek, Lin Manuel Miranda, and Mexican business tycoon Carlos Slim, who stood as Marc Anthony’s Best Man, and whose wife served as Ferreira’s Maid of Honor.
Victoria Beckham, whose own fashion line appeared to have made the bridesmaid dresses, also confirmed the news in her Instagram post.
“Congratulations Mr and Mrs Muniz!!! We love you both so much and it was such an honor to be part of your special day and celebrate your love!! Kisses @marcanthony @nadiatferreira,” the Spice Girls member said.
Ferreira commented on Victoria’s post, saying: What a magical night!! Indeed so honored you were such a big part of it with us and btw (by the way) you killed it with the bridesmaids dresses. Again so honored. We love you too!!” said Marc Anthony’s bride.
The 54-year-old singer, who was originally from New York City from Puerto Rican parents, was previously married to Jennifer Lopez in 2004 and were blessed with twins. They eventually divorced in 2014.
Before that, in 2000, he was married to former Miss Universe Dayanara Torres, who bore him two sons.
It was not immediately known if his children attended his wedding to Ferreira, who, ironically was also a former Miss Universe contestant in 2021 representing her country Paraguay.
