Dolly de Leon was named Best Supporting Actress at the Guldbagge Awards, known as Sweden’s equivalent of the Academy Awards, for her portrayal as Abigail in the critically-acclaimed film “Triangle of Sadness” on Jan. 24 (Philippine Standard Time).

The Filipina actress, who was also nominated at the Golden Globes, bested Marika Lindström of “Burn All My Letters”, Liv Mjönes of “Tack for the Last Time” and Carla Seh of “Stammisar” for the coveted award.

Aside from de Leon, “Triangle of Sadness” also won the Best Mask Design, Best Costume Design, Best Actor in a Supporting Role, Best Direction, and Best Movie. EDV
