Vice Ganda revealed that someone will return to “It’s Showtime” on Monday, Jan. 16, adding that the said celebrity was blessed to have earned the support of “madlang people” despite having gone through hardships in 2022.
The comedian said this during an episode of the noontime variety show on Friday, Jan. 13, when he and his fellow hosts were talking about how they should still be grateful even during hard days. Vice Ganda then narrated a recent conversation he had with someone who went through a lot in the previous year.
“Sabi ko sa kanya, ‘Bitbitin mo ‘yang excitement mo,'” he stated. “‘Sa sobrang bibigat ng pinagdaanan mo last year, ang pinakamaganda namang kasama niyan ay sinamahan ka, kinampihan ka, at pinaniwalaan ka ng madlang people.'”
(I told that person, “Bring your excitement with you. You may have gone through difficult challenges last year, but the most wonderful thing from what happened is that the madlang people joined you, took your side and believed in you.)
“‘Kaya bitbitin mo ‘yung excitement mo pagbalik mo sa Lunes,'” he added. (So bring your excitement with you when you return [to the show] on Monday.)

While Vice Ganda opted not to name who he was referring to, it can be noted that their fellow resident host Vhong Navarro has been absent from the show since September when the Taguig City Court ordered his arrest for the acts of lasciviousness case filed by model Deniece Cornejo in 2014.
In December, the court granted Navarro’s motion to post bail, which was set at P1 million, for his temporary liberty.
In the same month, Vice Ganda assured viewers of Navarro’s return to “It’s Showtime,” but asked fans at the time to let Navarro take time off and be with his family. /ra
