It’s a given that a child — in one way or another — would take after their parents, may it be in appearance, talents or even the path they will endeavor. The same goes in the showbiz industry.
That said, here’s a brief introduction to some of the celebrity children who we recently have been seeing in the limelight with their parents and — who knows — might even kick off careers in show business soon.
Muhlach twins
Aga Muhlach and Charlene Gonzalez’s 21-year-old twins Atasha and Andres recently made fans swoon with their stunning appearance at the Le Bal des Débutantes 2022, a debutante ball for prominent personalities held in Paris, France.
Atasha and Andres currently reside in the United Kingdom and Spain respectively, where they pursue their studies.
Gutierrez sisters
As bearers of the “Gutz” genes, Lorin, 19, and Venice, 18, are definitely headturners and it’s evident in their social media pages. Even when they haven’t officially entered the show business yet, the daughters of Ruffa Gutierrez with her ex-husband Yilmaz Bektas have already gained a huge Instagram following with hundreds of thousands each.
Lorin and Venice made headlines in the previous year when they reunited with their father after 15 long years.
Cruz sisters
Aside from serving looks with their beach snaps, Angelina, Sam and Chesca Cruz earned the admiration of netizens because of their tight bond with their mom Sunshine Cruz and dad Cesar Montano.
Among the three, the eldest, Angelina, was the first to venture into acting in 2021. She is also a recording artist and has released several songs including “Ayoko Lang,” and “Kaya Mo Ba?”
In the same year, Sam became a Star Magic talent and a recording artist as well with her first single “Train of Thoughts.”
Chesca, meanwhile, has yet to follow in the footsteps of her sisters and is currently focusing on her studies. Chesca is attending school at De La Salle Santiago Zobel.
Erika and Jakob Poturnak
Ina Raymundo’s “two panganays” Erika and Jakob have both been living abroad for their studies. Erika, 21, is pursuing her college degree at Berklee College of Music in Boston, Massachusetts, while Jakob, 18, juggles being a student and a baseball varsity player at Xavier University in Ohio. Erika and Jakob recently returned to the Philippines for the holiday season.
Erika has been romantically linked to basketball player Kobe Paras after the two of them were seen getting cozy with each other on several posts.

Emmanuelle Atienza
Emmanuelle, the 16-year-old daughter of Kim Atienza, kicked off her modeling career last October after she walked the runway of a local clothing brand’s fashion show.
Emmanuelle also exudes confidence as seen on her bikini photos on her Instagram page.
Ellie Eigenmann
Ellie, the daughter of Andi Eigenmann with Jake Ejercito, recently turned 11 and she sure has her parents’ celebrity genes. Although Ellie has no public social media accounts, fans still get updates on her through her parents, who both share a tight bond with their daughter.
Leon Barretto
Leon Barretto, the only son of Marjorie Barretto with ex-husband Dennis Padilla, entered college in 2021 and is taking up a marketing course at University of Asia and the Pacific. Leon has already ventured into vlogging and currently has 46,000 YouTube subscribers.
Leon, together with her sisters Julia and Claudia, made headlines in 2022 when he penned a scathing letter to their estranged father, Padilla.
Miel Pangilinan
Megastar Sharon Cuneta and Kiko Pangilinan’s daughter Miel celebrated turning 18 last September in a 1970s-themed 18th birthday party.
A few months before officially becoming an adult, Miel came out as part of the LGBTQ+ community and marked her first Pride Month of being “openly and publicly queer.”
Yohan Agoncillo
Yohan, the eldest daughter of Judy Ann Santos and Ryan Agoncillo, officially became an adult as she marked her 18th birthday late last year with a “Euphoria”-themed party.

Yohan is also an athlete and in September, she had her first swimming competition since the pandemic where she won.
