McCoy de Leon penned an open letter to Felize, his daughter with Elisse Joson, amid speculations that the actors have already parted ways.
De Leon, who opted not to state anything specifically, expressed his hopes for his daughter to “understand” his situation when she grows up, as per a post on his Instagram page. The open letter was first posted last Dec. 19 but was updated by the actor on Wednesday, Jan. 4.
“Lagi mong tatandaan na mahal kita. IKAW lang ang nakakaalam. IKAW lang ang makakaintindi sa akin. IKAW lang ang maasahan ko. IKAW lang ang rason kaya ako nabubuhay. IKAW lang ang lahat lahat ko,” he said.
(Always remember that I love you. You’re the only one who knows [it all]. You’re the only one who would understand me. You’re the only one I can rely on. You’re the only reason why I live. You are my everything.)
De Leon said that he longs for Felize and apparently implied that he currently has no means to reach her.
“Sana pag tanda mo wag magbago tingin kay daddy ha. Pasensya na kung hindi lang talaga nakaya ni daddy,” he continued. “Sana maikwento ko sayo pagtanda mo. Don’t worry, masasaya naman iki-kwento ko na may konting problema [para] naman maintindihan mo si daddy.”
(When you grow up, I wish that your perception of daddy won’t change. I’m sorry if I was not able to endure any longer. I hope to tell you everything when you grow up. Don’t worry, I will tell you happy stories and a few problems so you can understand me.)
“Pasensya na rin kung dito ko nailagay message ko, hindi ko na alam paano kita makakausap eh. Wag bibigyan ng sakit sa ulo si mommy ha, i-love mo siya,” he added. “Last na… anak wag mo silang pansinin, OK? Mahal na mahal kita anak ko. Miss na miss na kita sobra,” he continued
(I also apologize if I wrote my message here, because I do not know how else I would talk to you. Please do not give mommy a headache and please love her. One last thing, do not mind them, OK? I love you so much, my child. I miss you so much.)
Hours after penning a lengthy open letter to baby Felize, de Leon again edited the caption of his post on his Instagram. Then in his Instagram Stories, he apologized to his followers, apparently for the now-deleted portions of his letter to his daughter.
The post containing a selfie of de Leon with his daughter was first posted last Dec. 19, but was updated by the actor on Wednesday, Jan. 4. It was once again edited on the same day.
While both De Leon and Joson have yet to address the breakup speculations, some netizens accuse the actor of cheating on the actress after a photo of him with one Mary Joy Santiago made rounds on social media. In that photo, Santiago was resting her face on De Leon’s shoulder.
Santiago then made a cryptic statement addressing those “making assumptions” about her through her Instagram Stories on Tuesday, Jan. 3.
Speculations about De Leon and Joson’s supposed split came after netizens noticed that the two dropped cryptic posts on their Instagram pages. EDV
