Anne Curtis, Vice Ganda and Ellen Adarna were among the celebrities who marked the New Year with an overseas trip—from the quiet mountains of Australia to the bustling cities of Europe.
Curtis gave a peek at her vacation at Cradle Mountain National Park on the Australian island state of Tasmania, with her husband Erwan Heussaff and daughter Dahlia, via her Instagram page yesterday, Dec. 31. The actress also showed Dahlia sleeping right next to the national park’s Dove Lake.
“Shhh there’s a lil’ wombat sleeping. Wrapping up 2022 surrounded by nature and love with a very, very grateful heart,” she said.
Vice Ganda and his partner Ion Perez flew to Taiwan for the New Year, as seen on their respective Instagram pages, last Friday, Dec. 30. According to Perez, this is his second time in Taiwan with Vice Ganda.
Adarna rang in the New Year at Stockholm, Sweden, after a stopover in Paris, as seen on her Instagram page, also yesterday. She was accompanied by her family, her husband Derek Ramsay and her son Elias.
Kylie Verzosa marked the New Year with a solo trip to Paris, where she also celebrated Christmas Day, as shown on her Instagram post yesterday.
“New year same me. Wishing you all a Happy New Year,” she told fans.
For their part, celebrity couple Bea Alonzo and Dominic Roque welcomed the New Year in Tokyo, Japan, as seen on the actress’ Instagram page today, Jan.1.
Carmina Villaroel and Zoren Legaspi, along with their children Cassy and Mavy, celebrated New Year’s Eve by watching a fireworks show in Korea, as seen on the couple’s Instagram pages, also today.
