Over-the-hill actor reaps what he sows
In his prime, Former Heartthrob (FH) was as adorable as he was charming. He was so popular he could get away with diva-esque behavior, so people didn’t mind if FH would arrive late to his appointments or if he didn’t show up at all.
But time has a way correcting bad behavior or evening scores. FH’s “friends” in legitimate media eventually got so tired of his tardiness and unreliability that they no longer take his word seriously.
Rushes Mole (RM) said that FH learned this the hard way during a recent press gathering to drum up interest for one of his comeback bids.
RM noted that FH had a big smile when he entered the venue. But that smile quickly turned into a dissatisfied frown when FH looked around and saw nothing but vloggers and social media influencers. They may have a considerable amount of followers, but they don’t have the credibility to turn high-profile new projects into legit undertakings. As they say, you reap what you sow. INQ
