I just feel extremely blessed because a lot has happened for me this year. I got to meet new friends. I became part of a lot of projects, both for TV and film. I traveled abroad to be a film festival jury. This whole year feels like a dream to me that’s why I’m so grateful and deeply humbled.

My wish is just to have more time with my family since I became so busy recently. It would be nice to just bond and hang out together.

Truth be told, this year has been very kind to me. God has opened another door for me and provided me an opportunity to let in a new family for me to grow in His glory—and that is my MTRCB (Movie And Television Review And Classification Board) family. Having been appointed in July, I am proud to share that the MTRCB has achieved momentous feats that were made possible by our passionate and hardworking board members and our supportive workforce. Despite the challenges, we have shown our indelible commitment to provide the Filipino people with the best-in-class service.

I always pray for God’s guidance to lead me where I should be and I feel that I am exactly where God wants me. He has blessed me bountifully this 2022. I am thankful for the gift of life and the gift of family, this year, I pray that others may be granted their Christmas wishes, I also pray for healing for those who are sick, may all your days be merry and kind.” —Marinel Cruz
