Some of the country’s brightest stars graced the 2022 Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) in style, as the 48th edition of the MMFF recognized the best talents out of all the eight film entries.

Celebrities, filmmakers, industry workers and fans alike expressed their support for the local film industry at the MMFF Gabi ng Parangal, which was held Tuesday, Dec. 27, at the New Frontier Theater in Quezon City.

Here are some of the celebrities who shone during the awards ceremony:

Nadine Lustre, who won best actress, showed up at the Gabi ng Parangal in a body-hugging nude gown, as well as a bronze makeup look with her film “Deleter” face tattoo sitting on her nose bridge.

“Nanahimik ang Gabi” star Heaven Peralejo turned heads in a sparkly, asymmetrical gown and silver accessories.

MMFF 2022 best actor Ian Veneracion and MMFF 2022 best supporting actor Mon Confiado also charmed fans during the event.

Despite the absence of lead stars Toni Gonzaga and Joey de Leon, “My Teacher” actors Kakai Bautista, Loisa Andalio, Ronnie Alonte, Hannah Arguelles, Pauline Mendoza, Kych Minemoto and Isaiah dela Cruz were present at the awards ceremony.

“Deleter” star McCoy de Leon, on the other hand, looked dashing in an all-black suit at the MMFF 2022 Gabi ng Parangal.

Meanwhile, “My Father, Myself” actors Jake Cuenca, Sean de Guzman, Tiffany Grey and Quinn Carrillo accepted the Best Supporting Actress trophy on behalf of their co-star Dimples Romana.

JC Santos, Agot Isidro, Mylene Dizon and Ian Pangilinan of “Family Matters” also attended the MMFF Gabi ng Parangal.
