MANILA, Philippines — The techno-horror film “Deleter” was the biggest winner at the 48th Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) Gabi ng Parangal on Tuesday, Dec. 27, with seven awards brought home. 

The MMFF awards night recognized the best talents in this year’s eight competing film entries at the New Frontier Theater in Quezon City. “Deleter” won the Best Picture, Best Director, and Best Actress awards, among others.

Receiving the Marichu Vera-Perez Maceda Memorial award for her contributions to local cinema was Veteran actress Vilma Santos-Recto.
