Rita Daniela gave birth to her first child Juan “Uno” Andres, the “greatest Christmas gift” she received from God, on Thursday, Dec. 22.
The actress announced her son’s arrival to the world by showing their mother-and-son moment in the hospital, through her Instagram page on Saturday, Dec. 24.
“Hi, my son. You’re the greatest Christmas gift that God has given me. You’re such a blessing to us,” she stated. “Your Tatay and I are so joyful to have you. Can’t believe I’m celebrating Christmas this way… with you.”
Fellow celebrities Gabbi Garcia, Rayver Cruz, Julie Anne San Jose and Kylie Padilla were among those who sent their congratulatory messages, with Padilla looking forward to meeting Daniela’s son.

Daniela announced last June that she is expecting her first child with her non-showbiz partner, then revealed in September that they are welcoming a baby boy.
Meanwhile, Daniela is firm on keeping from the public the identity of her child’s father, noting that their relationship has always been private.
