Ovation Production apologizes for ‘logistical challenges’ in Ben&Ben homecoming concert
Ovation Productions, the concert organizer behind “Ben&Ben Homecoming Concert 2022,” has spoken up following fans’ complaints of ineffective venue, security and queuing system, among others, during the event.
The production company extended its apologies to fans while giving an account of several circumstances which caused the “logistical challenges” at the event, through a statement released on its Twitter page on Wednesday, Dec. 21.
“[Because] the turnout [of the concert] was massive, it had its share of logistical challenges that inconvenienced many of the fans. For this, we would like to apologize to everyone affected,” it read.
The company explained that the lack of entry gates to the venue was due to a joint decision made by the organizers and venue management to “spare people from walking over deep mud” in the area which had an ongoing construction work.
It also admitted that security procedures were “relaxed” at some point to unclog the choke points but was later re-imposed when the situation improved. The company noted as well that they provided adequate marshals, medical teams and ambulances in the venue.
