A few years back, actress Kris Bernal just wanted to start a business. However, she ended up having more than a business partner, but a partner in life, her now-husband Perry Choi.

On Instagram, Bernal talked about the relaunch of her first business, then she recalled with glee how she had met Choi.

“We are relaunching @meatkrisph,” she initially announced in her post where she shared photos of her business, her staff and her products. “My very first business venture in 2016, Meat Kris, holds special meaning for me because without it, I never would have met the one for me.”

“To make the story short — @choi.perry family’s company, ESV CORP, ended up being my primary food supplier (Such as meat, fries, milk, cheese, etc.) He helped me put up the business which was far beyond just being my supplier. He developed the winner recipe of the Meat Kris burger patty, created unique burger combos, and helped me with the overall management of the stores. Ganito niya ata ako niligawan! (This is must be how he courted me),” she said.

Bernal and Choi eventually tied the knot September 25 of last year at the St. Alphonsus Mary de Liguori Parish in Makati City. EDV
