Some of the country’s brightest leading ladies donned their most glamorous ensembles as they took the stage at the annual ABS-CBN Christmas Special on Dec. 17 and 18.
Following the theme “Tayo ang Ligaya ng Isa’t Isa,” the two-day program featured performances from ABS-CBN’s lineup of artists, popular love teams, and cast members of the network’s shows.
Take a look at some of the elegant gowns worn by Kapamilya leading ladies that captivated fans at the event.
“Pinoy Big Brother” alum Alexa Ilacad wore three gowns during the program’s production numbers including a sparkly lavender dress, a tight-fitted bronze gown with gloves, and an off-shoulder red number.
Meanwhile, “2 Good 2 Be True” star Kathryn Bernardo showed up in a total of five looks at the Christmas event. The actress donned sparkly silver and gold dresses, a retro-inspired black mini dress, a white cut-out ensemble, and a neon green gown, that were all put together by celebrity stylists Kimi Yap-Sy and Boop Yap Tañedo.
Kim Chiu looked chic in a serpentina-cut number adorned with feathers at the bottom, as seen in her Instagram account on Monday, Dec. 19.
Rise Artists Studio shared a series of photos of “An Inconvenient Love” and “He’s Into Her” star Belle Mariano who was elegantly dressed in a red tube gown.

On the other hand, Julia Montes was a sight to behold in a sparkly red tube ensemble and an intricate gold dress.
“Dirty Linen” star Janine Gutierrez turned up the heat in a sexy midnight blue cut-out gown.
Meanwhile, Loisa Andalio looked fresh in a sheer white asymmetrical gown, PVC pumps, and silver earrings that were put together by makeup artist RB A. Chanco, celebrity hair stylist Angel Jamelarin, and celebrity stylist Ica Villanueva.
“Fan Girl” and “Viral Scandal” star Charlie Dizon went for an edgy look in a glittery blue gown.
On the other hand, Sofia Andres welcomed the holiday season in a sultry bronze two-piece gown paired with gold jewelry.
Sue Ramirez showed off her straight locks and fair complexion in a sparkly gold halter gown. “Sa ngalan ng Christmas bonus, category is……. REBOND REALNESS ELEGANZAAAA,” she wrote in jest on her personal Instagram account.
Jane Oineza flaunted her curves in a silver body-hugging number that is paired with glittery makeup.
Meanwhile, “Darna” lead stars Janella Salvador and Jane De Leon wore twinning red gowns.
De Leon chose a cut-out halter design that showed her fit torso, while Salvador opted for one that has a thigh-high slit. EDV
