Ella Pangilinan, the eldest daughter of actress Maricel Laxa and Anthony Pangilinan, announced her engagement to her non-showbiz boyfriend Enrique Miranda, which she regards as the “best Christmas present” she has received so far.
Ella showed moments from when Miranda popped the question, through her Instagram page on Friday, Dec. 16. She also gave fans a closer look at her diamond ring.
“Best Christmas present ever,” she said in the caption.

Laxa also gushed over her daughter’s engagement as she shared a photo of the newly-engaged couple, through her Instagram page.
“Speechless, still processing as my heart is full,” she stated. “Thank you Enrique [Miranda] for the love and the boldness to take the next step.”

Fellow celebrities who congratulated the couple include Iya Villania, Korina Sanchez, Karen Davila and Sofia Andres, whose partner, Daniel Miranda, is the brother of Ella’s fiancé.
Aside from Ella, Laxa and Anthony share four more children: actor Donny Pangilinan, vlogger Hannah Pangalinan, Benjamin Pangilinan and Solana Pangilinan. Ella, Donny and Hannah graduated from college all together last October. EDV
