Miss Universe Philippines 2022 Celeste Cortesi is making her way closer to the Miss Universe crown as she hopped on a flight to the United States for the “final leg of her training.”
The beauty queen can be seen in a simple sendoff outfit—a white hoodie with matching white pants and shoes—as she posed at an airport, as seen on the Miss Universe Philippines organization’s Instagram page yesterday, Dec. 16.
“Safe travels, queen! Take a look as Miss Universe Philippines 2022 @celeste_cortesi embarks on her journey to the US for the final leg of her training for the 71st Miss Universe competition,” the organization stated.
For her part, Cortesi showed herself strutting her way across the airport terminal via her Instagram Stories, also yesterday.
“Otw (On the way),” she simply captioned.

Cortesi, a Filipino-Italian model, was hailed as Miss Universe Philippines in the pageant held last April. She will be competing in the 71st Miss Universe pageant on Jan. 14, 2023, in New Orleans, Louisiana in the US (Jan. 15 in the Philippines).
Recently, she stunned fans in her official headshot for the global pageant and posed with her fellow Miss Universe Philippines queens for a renaissance-inspired shoot. /ra
