Miss Universe is nearing the coronation of its next queen, and the Philippines’ candidate, Celeste Cortesi, is all set for the competition.
The Miss Universe Philippines 2022 titleholder looked stunning in a thin-strapped black dress with sheer details, along with sparkling drop earrings, in her official headshot for the pageant released by the Miss Universe Philippines Organization today, Nov. 17.
“The Miss Universe season is upon us! Here’s the official headshot of Miss Universe Philippines 2022 Celeste Cortesi,” it stated.
The portrait was taken by photographer Gee Plamenco Jr. and styled by Perry Tabora.

Meanwhile, Cortesi expressed appreciation to fans and showed a similar photo on her Instagram page, also today.
“Thank you for your unconditional love and support. Mahal ko kayo (I love you),” she said while urging the public to vote for their favorite candidate through Miss Universe’s official app.

Cortesi, a Filipino-Italian model, was crowned as Miss Universe Philippines in the pageant held last April. She will be competing in the 71st Miss Universe pageant scheduled on Jan. 14 next year in New Orleans, Louisiana, USA.
Meanwhile, the Miss Universe Philippines organization recently started accepting applications from aspirants for its 2023 pageant, “regardless of civil status.” /ra
