WATCH: Janine Gutierrez fangirls over Sarah Geronimo in behind-the-scenes moment at ASAP

Janine Gutierrez could not contain her excitement after having a face-to-face encounter with her idol, popstar royalty Sarah Geronimo, at the “ASAP Natin ‘To” studio backstage.
Gutierrez’s fangirl moment was captured by ASAP head writer Darla Sauler in a behind-the-scenes clip uploaded on her Instagram account on Thursday, Dec. 15. Sauler, however, did not state the exact date when the video was taken.
The video showed Gutierrez being shy to approach Geronimo while ASAP celebrities and staff urged the actress to approach the “Dati-Dati” singer.
“Mhie [Sarah], may Popster nahihiyang magpakilala sa’yo (Sarah, there’s a Popster who’s shy to introduce herself to you),” Darla said, referring to Gutierrez. Moments later, “Pinoy Big Brother” alum Maymay Entrata gently pushed the actress in an attempt to get her closer to the pop star.

By the end of the video, Gutierrez made her fangirl dreams come true after having several pictures taken with Geronimo.
Fellow celebrities Melai Cantiveros and Kerwin King sent congratulatory messages to Gutierrez in the comments section of the post.

Gutierrez has always been vocal about her support for Geronimo, even before the backstage moment was shared on social media. In a 2020 vlog, the “Dirty Linen” actress revealed that she is a “huge fan” of the singer. /ra
