Maymay Entrata has made her way to MTV Asia once more, as she appeared on its “MTV Jammin'” series with a performance of her new song “Puede Ba.”
The actress-recording artist showed off her singing talent, opened up on the song’s creation and shared personal stories, as seen on MTV Asia’s YouTube channel yesterday, Dec. 12.
“It’s my second time here, and I’m so happy because it’s full production now and I’m so excited to perform,” she said before belting out the lyrics to “Puede Ba.”
“MTV Jammin'” is MTV Asia’s weekly series which features stripped down performances of various artists. Entrata was first featured in the series back in March, when she performed “Amakabogera,” “Ubos na ang Problema” and “Di Kawalan.”
Entrata released “Puede Ba” last Oct. 21 through the music label Star Pop. The track, which is about attraction between two individuals on a dance floor, was originally performed by singer Viktoria back in 2000.
Recently, Entrata made a nominee finish for the Best Asia Act award at the 2022 MTV Europe Music Awards (EMAs), making her the only Filipino who was nominated in the category. The award was won by South Korean boy group Tomorrow x Together. /ra
