BB Gandanghari is making the most out of her visit to the Philippines, as she bonded with family and visited her late brother’s grave with her mother Eva Cariño.
The actress, born Rustom Padilla before transitioning to become a woman, showed herself sharing several meals and playing the piano with some loved ones, as well as visiting the grave of her brother Royette Padilla. This she shared via her Instagram page yesterday, Dec. 8.
“Coming home is seeing the living and those who have passed. I miss my kuya Royet, ArikiSan, my brother-in-law whom I have always considered my father figure and my favorite nephew, Jack Jack. I pray for your souls, may you rest in peace,” she said.
“Togetherness is precious… family ties that bind. Lots of food and laughter that brings joy to this otherwise lonely heart in a foreign land. My heart is filled, my soul refreshed. God is good… all the time!” BB Gandanghari added.
BB Gandanghari’s reunion with her family was a long time coming, as her recent visit to the Philippines marks her first in seven years. She first teased her arrival at the country by showing herself at an airport last Monday, Dec. 5. The actress then gave a peek at her reunion with her mother last Tuesday, Dec. 6.
BB Gandanghari is now based in Los Angeles, after she moved there to pursue her Hollywood dream—a journey that she confessed has been “challenging.” She officially became an American citizen earlier this year. /ra
