Valeen Montenegro is set to tie the knot with her non-showbiz boyfriend Riel Manuel after he popped the question last Thursday, Nov. 24.

The actress-comedian announced this by giving a glimpse of Manuel’s marriage proposal through Montenegro’s Instagram page on Sunday, Nov. 27.

Montenegro was seen standing in the middle of the woods when Manuel approached her to propose. Manuel then took the ring from his pocket and got down on one knee while the actress jumped for joy.

Montenegro’s fellow celebrities Megan Young, Janine Gutierrez, Carla Abellana and Chito Miranda were among those who expressed happiness for the couple via the comments section.

Montenegro and Manuel have been dating since 2018. Montenegro earlier disclosed that she is ready to settle down with Manuel, admitting that she has been “waiting” for him to propose at the time. EDV
