Jacklyn Jose warns against hacker using her Facebook page to ask for money
Jacklyn Jose warned the public against a hacker who managed to gain control of her Facebook page to ask for money from others.
The actress gave this warning while showing screenshots of the chat conversations that the supposed hacker had with undisclosed individuals, via her Instagram page yesterday, Nov. 23. The screenshots showed that the poser had asked for P20,000 and declined to take an audio call via Facebook Messenger.
“My phone has been hacked…[please] ignore if someone is asking for money, di po ako ‘yun (that is not me),” Jose said.

Jose then noted via comment on her post that the hacker initially exchanged pleasantries with some of her Facebook friends before asking for money.
Article continues after this advertisement“Those who know me, alam nila hindi ako ‘yan. [Please] ‘wag paloko. Ako na sana ang huling naloko ng mga taong ito,” she added. (Those who know me know that is not me. Please do not be fooled. I hope I am the last one to fall victim to this person.)
Jose celebrated her 58th birthday late last month, but lamented last Nov. 1 that she did not receive a greeting from her daughter Andi Eigenmann and Eigenmann’s fiance Philmar Alipayo.
Eigenmann and Alipayo have yet to comment on the issue, though some eagle-eyed fans noticed that the mother and daughter appeared to have unfollowed each other on Instagram amid speculations. /ra
