Kim Atienza says friendship with former ‘It’s Showtime’ hosts remains ‘regardless of network’
Kim Atienza stressed that he and his former “It’s Showtime” co-hosts are still a “family” despite being in different networks, as he sent his well-wishes to Vice Ganda and the noontime show.
The TV host said on Twitter on Saturday, November 19 in response to one @chirushi25 who hopes for a “reconciliation” among Vice Ganda, Jhong Hilario and former “Its Showtime” hosts — Atienza, and Billy Crawford.
“‘Di naman nasira ([Our friendship] is not broken). We are all family regardless of network or show,” Atienza said.

Atienza also acknowledged Vice Ganda following the comedian’s expression of gratitude to his former “It’s Showtime” co-hosts as well as director Bobet Vidanes on the show’s 13th anniversary.

Atienza then received criticisms from some netizens who pointed out that the TV host could have just sent a private message to Vice Ganda instead of tweeting it. Atienza just shrugged it off while thanking fans who came to his defense.
“May mga taong likas na toxic,” he stated. “Hayaan mo na lang baka may pinagdadaanan.” (There are people who are naturally toxic. Just let them be. Maybe they are going through something.)
