Harry Styles and Olivia Wilde are pressing pause on their relationship as reports say they are “taking a break” after nearly two years together.
The One Direction alum and “Don’t Worry Darling” director are hitting the breaks on their relationship, multiple anonymous sources confirmed exclusively to People yesterday, Nov. 18. The split was also reported by Page Six and TMZ, among others.
“He’s still touring and is now going abroad. She is focusing on her kids and her work in [Los Angeles]… It’s a very amicable decision,” one source was quoted as saying.
Despite the split, sources insisted that Styles and Wilde remain “very close friends.”
“Right now, they have different priorities that are keeping them apart,” sources noted in the report.
The pair’s “break” comes months after the release of “Don’t Worry Darling,” when they had to endure red carpet drama, including claims that Wilde and the film’s lead actress Florence Pugh were at odds.
Styles and Wilde were first romantically linked in January 2021, when they were spotted holding hands at the wedding of Style’s manager.
Wilde was previously married to filmmaker Tao Ruspoli from 2003 to 2011. She then got engaged to actor Jason Sudeikis, with whom she shares two children, but they split in November 2020 after 10 years together. /ra
