Reeling from speculations about his recent absence from “It’s Showtime,” Vice Ganda on Monday addressed issues in his usual fashion — sarcastic humor.

On his Twitter page, Vice Ganda spoke about supposed rift among the show’s cast and director, delivering a caustic reply to one @victorino_ruby, who alluded to the matter as the reason for his non-appearance in the show despite scheduled special events, such as the finals of the segment “Miss Q and A”.

“Ano ba problem Ms Vice? Bakit natitiis mo kaming nga followers mo at ang viewers ng Showtime. Finals last Saturday siguro naman kahit may shooting pwede kang payagan ng producer na mag absent kahit one day Lang. Siguro nga totoo na hindi na kayo ok ng mga cast ng Showtime,” @victorino_ruby tweeted.

(What seems to be the problem, Ms Vice? How could you let your followers and viewers at Showtime miss your presence?  It was the finals last Saturday, but even if you have a shooting, your producer could have let you take a leave just for a day. Maybe it is true that the “It’s Showtime” cast is currently not on good terms with each other.)

The comedian tweeted his reply with an “affirmation” of the netizen’s speculative guess.

“Totoo po lahat ng mga nasa isip niyo. Wala naman po talagang dahilan kung bakit ako absent last Saturday. Tinamad lang ako talaga,” Vice Ganda responded. “At totoong may mga issues kami ngayon sa Showtime’, ang cast at ang direktor. At oras na para ipaalam ko sa inyo ang mga nangyayari para matapos na.”

(All your speculations are true. There was really no reason for my absence last Saturday, I just felt lazy that day. And it’s true that there are issues among “It’s Showtime” cast and director. It’s about time that I inform all of you about it to end the speculations.)

He further quipped about how he “hates” fellow host Anne Curtis after supposedly having an argument with her on who’s uglier between them. The comedian then went on and narrated how his partner Ion Perez and Jhong Hilario supposedly got into a fight over dance choreography.

Vice Ganda also talked about his fellow hosts Ryan Bang, Teddy Corpuz, Jugs Jugueta as well as show director Jon Moll, and the apparent “issues” among them. He added that these “issues” are prompting him to “resign” and have a contract signing apparently with other networks.

“Ayan po ang mga dahilan ng mga away at kaguluhan sa [It’s Showtime’],” he stated. “OK na po? Happy?” (These are the reasons behind the feud and commotion in “It’s Showtime.” Are you all [satisfied]? Happy?”)

In a separate post, the comedian then greeted the noontime variety show on its 13th anniversary, disclosing that he will return to “It’s Showtime” on Wednesday, Oct. 26.

Vice Ganda earlier apologized to fans for missing the “Miss Q and A” grand finals, citing that his absence was due to a “valid reason.”

While he did not state anything specifically, Vice Ganda explained that he was not able to attend the show because he was “not allowed” to do so. EDV
