Ellen Adarna has dodged a hacking attempt on her Facebook page, telling those who were trying to take over her account to “not bother” with it at all.
The actress poked fun at the failed hacking while showing messages from Facebook on her Instagram Stories yesterday, Oct. 5.
The alert featured a blurred-out code that could be used to access Adarna’s account, along with a prompt stating she should contact Facebook if she was not the one trying to access her page. It was followed by another message from Facebook stating it had recorded that she had not asked for her password to be changed.
“Dear hacker… Don’t even bother. Nice try [though],” she said.
This comes as other celebrities and influencers lamented the mysterious removal of their Facebook accounts. Among them is actress-vlogger Ivana Alawi, who aired her frustrations on the incident earlier this week. According to Alawi, she did not commit any violations on the social media platform and was not given a warning before her page was taken down.
Meanwhile, Adarna is set to celebrate her first wedding anniversary with her husband, fellow actor Derek Ramsay. The couple tied the knot in November last year, after months of being in a relationship.
While their anniversary is still weeks away, Ramsay appears to be excited to mark the milestone as he gave Adarna a luxury car last month as an early anniversary gift. /ra
