Gwyneth Paltrow shimmered in gold while baring it all in her 50th birthday photo shoot inspired by the 1964 James Bond film “Goldfinger.”
The American actress flaunted her slim physique with parts of her body covered in gold powder, as seen on her Instagram page yesterday, Sept. 27. The team behind Goop, a wellness and lifestyle brand founded by the actress, also greeted Paltrow and showed more photos from the shoot in a separate post.
“I feel so good turning 50, and this is about expressing that sense of energy and optimism that I’m experiencing,” Paltrow spoke of the shoot during an interview with the brand. “It’s more about the female gaze and just a sense of fun.”
“I think aging is actually a beautiful thing. We just need to open our perceptions,” Paltrow added. “As you become more yourself, in integrity, your life really opens up.”
Paltrow is known for her films “Se7en,” Emma” and “Shakespeare in Love,” among others. She was also part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe films, where she played Pepper Potts, the assistant and love interest of Robert Downey Jr.’s Tony Stark.
