Kylie Padilla shuts down rumors she’s expecting a child with Gerald Anderson

Kylie Padilla dismissed and laughed off the pregnancy rumors hounding her and fellow actor Gerald Anderson, her co-star in the upcoming film “Unravel.”
The said rumors apparently arose after Padilla and Anderson recently went to Switzerland for the filming of their movie. The actress then spoke about the issue, in an interview with entertainment reporter Nelson Canlas for “24 Oras,” as seen on GMA’s YouTube channel yesterday, Aug. 23.
“Wala pong katotohanan [ang] mga lumalabas [na issue],” she said. “Magkaibigan lang po kami ni Gerald and super professional lang po ang relationship namin, nothing else.”
(There is no truth to the issues emerging. Gerald and I are just friends and our relationship is just professional, nothing else.)
Padilla expressed her worries over the misinformation such rumors cause, and lamented how some netizens are “irresponsible” for spreading them.
“It’s so out of this world na hindi po talaga siya totoo. Naba-bother lang po ako na baka may maniwala e,” she stated. (It is so out of this world because it is really not true. I am just bothered that some may believe it.)
Padilla also reiterated her statement denying the rumors, in response to a netizen who asked about her supposed pregnancy with Anderson being the father, via a question-and-answer session on her Instagram Stories today, Aug. 24. Anderson is yet to comment on the issue, as of writing.

Meanwhile, Padilla revealed last May that she is dating again, almost a year after her breakup with actor Aljur Abrenica was confirmed to the public. The former couple is in a co-parenting setup for their two sons, Alas Joaquin and Axl Romeo. JB
