Jaya gave fans an update about her family’s situation and stated that her husband found a new home and a new job, over a week after their house burned down in the United States.
The singer showed the message approving their home application as well as a job offer email to her husband, via her Instagram page yesterday, Aug. 17.
“I am so excited to share this with you friends… Grabe naman po kayo Lord! (You are so great, Lord!)” she said. “[Eight] days after our house burned down, my husband Gary received these blessings on his email on Aug. 15! A new home and a new job!”
“I don’t know what else to say but thank you Lord! And again, may I say thank you to Jesus, you are at the center of it all,” she added.
While it was not immediately known where the singer and her family are currently staying, Jaya has been performing at shows which “made her forget her sadness,” as seen in a separate post today, Aug. 18.
“So grateful to God for music. Until the next gigs,” she stated, adding the hashtag “move forward.”
Jaya moved to the U.S. with her family in July last year. Their house got damaged by fire on Aug. 7 due to electrical issues. They immediately started looking for a new place to live in. JB
