Camille Prats was warned by one of her friends over a fake endorsement which uses a photo of her family to sell expired snacks and cereals.

The actress-TV host informed the public that she is not associated with the said products as well as its sellers, as per her Instagram page yesterday, Aug. 16. Prats showed a screenshot of the page using her name and fellow actress Marian Rivera, who supposedly recommended the products to her as per the fake ad.

“[I] have been getting a lot of messages about this photo of our family endorsing some snacks and cereals. Guys, THIS IS A SCAM,” she said. “We are not endorsing such products.”

“Our [collaborations] with brands are ONLY posted on my official social media platforms and nowhere else. These posts have been reported but they keep creating new ones,” she added.

A buyer also reached out to Prats through her friend, hoping to be in contact with the seller after receiving expired items.

“Please report if you come across it. Always check if the account is verified before clicking [or] purchasing,” Prats advised the public. “Let’s all be vigilant in posts like these. Madami ng magaling mag edit at mangbudol (There are so many people skilled in editing and tricking others).”

Prats’ fellow celebrities Iya Villania, Chariz Solomon and Lovely Abella lamented how sellers would do such to deceive buyers. Abella then noted that other celebrities were also used by the same product for fake endorsements. JB
