“The Clash” alum Garrett Bolden has started rehearsals for “Miss Saigon” in Guam, about a month before the stage musical production is set to start its run.

The show’s producer, World Theater Productions, gave a glimpse of the rehearsals at Micronesia Mall in Guam, via Instagram yesterday, Aug. 8.

“Singing and dancing rehearsals are in full swing for ‘Miss Saigon’ Guam. Three more weeks until the biggest and world renowned musical Broadway show comes to the island! GMA TV Philippines singer Garret Bolden has arrived for rehearsals!” it stated.

Bolden revealed last July that he will take on the role of American G.I. John Thomas during the Vietnam war. John Thomas is instrumental in the development of characters Kim and Chris’ relationship, as well as their reunion later in the play, as per World Theater Productions’ Instagram page last March.

The singer left the country last Friday, Aug. 5, to start his training and rehearsals for “Miss Saigon” Guam. The shows for the said production will start in September.

Bolden is one of the contestants in the first season of GMA’s “The Clash.” He finished as a finalist during his time in the reality singing competition, while Golden Cañedo was named the grand champion.  /ra
