Sunshine Dizon has revealed she endured several MRI scans that lasted over five hours after she experienced pain in her neck.
The actress disclosed having gone through the procedure while showing her arm that had an IV tube injected in it, via her Instagram and Facebook pages yesterday, Aug. 3.
“Did a more than [five] hours lumbar, cervical and bilateral shoulder MRI with contrast under sedation last night. Super groggy last night, thank you to those who messaged and checked on me,” she said.
Dizon then assured those who were “worried” for her by pointing out that she had already experienced back and cervical pain in the past.
“I usually have low back and cervical pain (my last MRI was 2020) but recently my neck started to hurt again thats why I got the procedure,” she said.
Among the celebrities who wished for Dizon’s speedy recovery were Cherry Pie Picache, Teresa Loyzaga and Angeline Quinto.
“Mahigpit na yakap (Tight hugs) Shine. Sending prayers for complete healing and recovery,” Picache told Dizon.
“Prayers. Please be well,” Loyzaga said, while Quinto hoped Dizon would get well soon.

Dizon, who transferred from GMA Network to ABS-CBN in 2021, was last seen in the TV series “Marry Me, Marry You.”
The actress also ventured into directing last year. She teamed up with filmmaker Mark Reyes to helm the 2021 digital series “B&B: The Battle between Brody and Brandy.” /ra
