Hidilyn Diaz and her coach-trainer fiancé Julius Naranjo are all set for their wedding as they held a welcome party with loved ones who visited Baguio City to witness their special day.
The Olympic champion can be seen posing with Naranjo at Mount Costa garden in Baguio City, as seen on Diaz’s Instagram page yesterday, July 25. Diaz donned a white strapless Vania Romoff dress and was styled by celebrity stylist Liz Uy, while Naranjo wore a black long-sleeved button-up shirt as they both spent time with friends over drinks, among others.
“Welcome Party. Thank you for traveling here to Baguio to witness our wedding. Thank you for the friendship and the love. I love you,” Diaz told their friends and family.

Meanwhile, Diaz looked back at the day she won the Philippines’ first Olympic gold medal on her Instagram page today, July 26, one year after it happened. She and Naranjo will also tie the knot while celebrating the first anniversary of their Olympic victory.
“Today marks the first anniversary of our winning the Gold medal in the @olympics for the Philippines. And today also will be a memorable day for [Julius] and me, we will get married today,” she said.

Diaz and Naranjo announced their engagement in October 2021.
Naranjo then recently revealed that he offered Diaz to sign a prenuptial agreement, noting that their marriage is about loving each other and not about “anything material.” Diaz also disclosed that she and Naranjo are hoping to have their own family soon, adding that she plans to get pregnant after the 2024 Summer Olympics. /ra
