Ruffa Gutierrez is now facing a complaint filed under the National Labor Relations Commission (NLRC) by her two former house helpers, who the actress allegedly fired without paying their salaries.
P3PWD Rep. Rowena Guanzon, who first made public the issue involving Gutierrez, showed a screenshot of the “Notice of Conference” addressed to the actress, via Guanzon’s Twitter page yesterday, July 20.
“The [two] former kasambahay (house helpers) of [Ruffa Gutierrez na taga (from) Kabankalan, Negros Occidental] filed a complaint in the NLRC for back wages and damages,” Guanzon said.
The said notice states that Gutierrez was invited to a conciliation-mediation conference “for purposes of resolving the issues.” The said meeting will take place on July 27 in Quezon City.

Gutierrez and her camp have yet to comment about the said complaint, as of writing.
Gutierrez’s lawyer earlier stated that the actress “neither fired nor refused to pay” her former house helpers, dismissing the claims as “black propaganda” against Gutierrez. Annabelle Rama, Gutierrez’s mom, also came to the actress’ defense and addressed a certain “rumormonger” to “mind their own business.” JB
